Rustic Hall Tree

I love to get old things and put them together in new ways. About six months ago our local Habitat for Humanity Restore had some awesome scrap wood and antique theater seats from a building in town that was begin torn down.

Rustic Hooks for Hall Tree

I had the brilliant idea of making a hall tree and bench for our living room since we didn’t have a designated area to hang coats and I was so sick of having bags lying around. Our house is a 1200 square foot Cape Cod so I take advantage of every nook and cranny.

If you want to do a similar project I recommend the following supplies:

1) Enough wood to make a 6-7 foot high wall-mounted hall tree.

2) Some sort of bench

3) Rustic hooks, such as these from Rustic Hooks and More
